Katerina is an independent music producer, shopkeeper and real food advocate. Born in Athens and trained as an ethnomusicologist in Berlin, she quickly became entangled with backstage life as a member of the inaugural WOMEX team, and as a radio producer. In 2002 she set up KAPA Productions in London, dedicated to international touring and artist management, and became the founder and driving force behind the first nine years of Making Tracks, during which she organised thirty UK tours for bands and artists from around the globe. Through her work with Making Tracks and at SOAS - University of London, where she was events manager for several years, Katerina has made a major contribution to the provision of diverse music both within and outside London. She now lives on a smallholding in North Wales.
